Happy Graduation!

Journal Entry: Sun May 25, 2008, 9:18 AM
 I just graduated from high school! Class of 2008!

But before that, something amazing happened to me. When I went to work the other day, There was a guy in his early 20's sleeping in the parking lot. I didn't want to approach him at the time because it was dangerous by myself. Later that day, I saw that he was still sleeping in the parking lot, so I decided to get my dad and a few co workers to come outside with me. We weren't going to call the cops, we just wanted to talk to him at the time. My dad noticed his clothes were pretty new, so we tried to get an address and name out of him. Unfortuantely, he was mentally challenged. In the meantime, I bought him something to eat and finally got an address out of him. I googled his address, called the number, and it turns the guy had been missing for 16 days. Needless to say, his mom was worried sick about about him. He wandered 30 miles away from his home. :o

He's okay now. :)

Needless to say, I'll be very busy. However, this is the inspiration i've been looking for to jumpstart my photography hobby again. I'll upload the photos when I get back.

I've also decided to get commissions/art just for this special occassion from :iconjbwarner86: and :iconmarcosbnpinto:. I have some ideas for some HA! works (parodies, original scenarios, real life occurances, music mix).

In other news, I've been tagged by :iconjbwarner86:

6 Weird Habits/Things/Hates About Yourself

The rules:
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their devpage comments and tell them to read yours.

1) I have a special military license I can use to go anywhere in the world just in case the US breaks out in war.

2) When I was 9, I trained my cat to come to me when I called it's name.

3) I appeared in a few advertisments for a kiddie hair product line in the now defunct magazine called "Options" that ran in the early 1990's for PBS.

4) Donna Summer held me when I was baby. (pics by request only)

5) During the early 1990's, My house was featured in a movie about an ex-baseball who's life was ruined by cocaine. It was paid for by ex Atlanta Braves star Otis Nixon. To this day, I still don't know the name of the movie but I have a bunch of pictures from it. It has aslo never been released in theaters.

6) I have magazines that date back to the the early 20th century.

5,000 Pageviews and Projects Update

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 11, 2007, 5:06 PM
My Brand New Hey Arnold video on YouTube! and My Birthday is Sept. 18 :w00t:

5,000 Pageviews! Yay! :iconmc-hammer:

Now about the projects. I'm currently doing a project that deals with Lila during various decades.(50's60's70's80's90's) it's simular to the "Archies Americana" series. I plan to attach a story with each decade. If you would like to illustrate Lila wearing the styles for each decade I would REALLY appreciate it. The 60's story(title pending) will be A/L. But i'm still debating on the rest of the decades.

The Way We Are (title pending)

The story deals with Lila in her teens trying to get on American Bandstand to impress Arnold ( he appears after all! ^_^ yay!) What she doesn't know is that Arnold is also trying to get on the same show to impress her. Hilarity and plot complications ensue. The plot is very 60's teen flick ish( I watch too many of those) which means it's going to contain my favorite songs from the 60's. I can't help it. I love retro camp. ^_^

I'm also doing a mockumentary. a "Behind the Music" "True Hollywood Story" type of biography that deals with Lila. It explains everything about her as well as things we don't know. It starts with her being interviewed as an adult who's made it as a famous choreographer (one of her aspirations on the show) and flashes back from here. It also covers various adventures in her career like her brief stint in Broadway. That's where pictures like baby photos and broadway posters come in. Some of the pictures are already up on DA.

Unlike most fanfictions/stoies out there, all of the stories are comedies and have art to go with it. Frankly, I don't deal with angst/drama. It's not my thing. There's enough stories like that out there.Don't get me wrong, It will touch on subjects like the death of her mother and change, but it's mostly off beat and humorous.

I look forward to your thoughts on this. ^_^
